Jasmine Billing

Jasmine joined Neuman Thompson as an Associate Lawyer at the end of January 2022.

Jasmine was called to the Alberta Bar in 2018, and prior to joining Neuman Thompson she was an Associate at a mid-size regional firm in Edmonton where her practice focused on civil litigation including construction, employment, condominium, and commercial matters. Jasmine now practices in all areas of labour and employment law and has past practice defending wrongful dismissal and human rights claims, drafting workplace policies and agreements, and in other areas of employment law.

Jasmine graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2017. During law school Jasmine was on the executive of the Women’s Law Forum, and she was a consistent volunteer with Student Legal Services.

Prior to earning her Juris Doctor, Jasmine earned her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction at the University of Alberta, majoring in Political Science. Outside of the practice of law, Jasmine enjoys attending row and spin classes at her favourite local workout studios. She also likes to spend quality time with her family, especially the family dog who is quite a character.
